We’ve all had times when we’ve become especially aware of our sinfulness. But is it enough to simply recognize our sinful state? In 1 Samuel 12, the Israelites are confronted with the wickedness of their request for a king, and they realize the gravity of their sin…but they are challenged to also properly respond to their sin.
