In our culture we like concepts like “fair and “equitable.” We are quite comfortable with the idea of “wages received for work done.” We are less comfortable with grace; when someone receives something of value that they haven’t earned and they don’t deserve. Our gospel is all about grace. It’s about God’s wonderful salvation extended to all who believe, freely, without charge. How are we to respond to an offer like that? How are God’s people to respond to grace? Galatians 1:11-2:10
