A pledge of allegiance can be made rather easily – To country, to family, to spouse, and even to God. Without fail, our allegiances will be tested, and such tests can be incredibly difficult. No test of allegiance is more important or more difficult than our pledge of allegiance to King Jesus. Today’s message from I Samuel 20 challenges us to respond properly when our allegiance to our King is tested severely.
