Parents, do you ever feel overwhelmed with all the changes in the world? How will we ever raise our kids to love God in this culture? Cell phones, social media, music, and so many things can make the most confident parents unsettled. Most of us are already time-starved and can barely keep the laundry done and dinner on the table (And some days that doesn’t even happen). Does it seem impossible to fit in one more thing? You are not alone! As Christian parents, we know the importance of discipling our kids, but what does that look like? Deuteronomy 6 paints a beautiful picture for the family and of God’s heart for discipleship at home. And Centerpoint Church recognizes that Scripture makes it clear that it is the parents’ responsibility to nurture the faith of their children, not the responsibility of the Church. The Church is here to equip the parents.

On Sunday night, October 2nd from 6-7:30pm we are going to have a family discipleship seminar. This particular seminar will focus on family worship at home. So we invite parents and grandparents to join us as we seek to help each other on this tough journey of discipling our children and grandchildren. Childcare will be provided…and dessert as well. If you plan on joining us, please register at Faith at Home.
