Injustice infuriates us. Whether the evil is perpetrated through strategic acts of terrorists or careless disregard of drunk drivers, we look for injustice to be dealt with. And our fury only intensifies when we see injustice that is directed specifically against God’s people and His program. It is enough to make us want to strive for justice with whatever means we can muster. But that could be a big mistake! Today’s message from 1 Samuel 25 encourages us to look for justice to come in the right way and at the right time.
