Over the past few weeks we have been reminded about the wisdom of obeying God. We want to obey Him because He is good and His instructions to us are good. We want to obey Him because we know that obedience brings blessing and disobedience has negative consequences. How do we obey God? It’s easy to say but often much harder to do. How do we obey God when obedience doesn’t come naturally? And is it possible to enjoy it? Psalm 119:9-16 suggests that the pathway to joyful obedience is found in our response and attitude to the Word of God.
