It is not uncommon for us, as God’s people, to find ourselves talking with an unbeliever, and being faced with a dilemma: Should we bring the gospel into the conversation or not? At those times we wrestle in our minds. On one hand, we care about the person and want to share the good news, but on the other hand, we can think of a whole bunch of reasons to keep quiet. Jesus’s disciples felt the same way, and Jesus gives them, and us, some direction as we move forward. John 4:27, 31–38
