We want to believe that God will keep His promise of blessing to those who follow Him. Yet our present reality often seems so far from what we expect this blessing to look like, and we’re tempted to doubt God’s ability to follow through. But our text for this morning reminds us that even in the midst of conflict and confusion, we have great cause for hope in our God, who will not fail to deliver what He has promised. 1 Samuel 23
