What wisdom can we learn from David’s confession and restoration found in Psalm 51? David appeals to God’s attributes of loving-kindness and tender mercies as he confesses his sins before God. David admits his sin and asks for restoration with God. He lives out from there his new freedom in being forgiven. A changed life means changed actions. David also realizes the best offering he can bring to God is himself.
