Families for His Good Pleasure

For most of our lives, we find ourselves relating to a family. We interact with parents, grandparents, spouse, children, and extended family members. These interactions provide joy and satisfaction, along with sorrow and disappointment. In this family arena, we often seek relationships for our pleasure. Yet God has initiated a greater goal in positioning us in families; they exist for His good pleasure!

During the fall of 2009, Centerpoint Church will focus its Sunday morning messages on developing families for God’s good pleasure. Whether you are a child, a single, a married individual, or a formerly married person, you will be challenged to set your sights on this lofty goal for our family relationships. Each message will explore a different aspect of how we can develop God-focused families that seek His glory. Plan to be present for the whole series. Here is a look ahead.
