The race for top honors starts in elementary school and accelerates through college. It possesses us in our careers and drives us in the marketplace. This race to be on top is so ingrained in us that we hardly conceive of life without it. But the kingdom of Jesus is not about ladder-climbing. It is about people-serving. And as followers of Jesus, we follow Him to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of others. What a challenge! Matthew 20:17-28
