We’ve learned so far in James that a variety of trials are guaranteed for believers and that we are called to endure them with joy knowing that through them, we are maturing. Additionally, if we lack wisdom, we are to ask God for it. In our text this morning, James will give us wisdom in how to respond to the trial of our checkbook along with the blessing that comes through enduring trials with joy.           James 1:9-12
