Annette Baker has attended Centerpoint Church for 20 years, where she currently oversees the Care Ministry and leads the monthly 34:18 meeting.Her ministry objective is to “journey” alongside the deeply wounded and apply intentional methods of comfort to guide care recipients towards healing. Professionally, she obtained her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University and earned a Chaplaincy Certificate following two years of Clinical Pastoral Education training at Methodist Medical Hospital. Her overseas outreaches have included six trips to Leon, Mexico and one trip to Columbia. In her spare time she’s typically found in the kitchen or spending time with her three adult children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and one grandson. Areas of interests include creating all-natural body-care products and the study of Thanatology.
